A COLLABORATION WITH WORLD-RENOWNED MUSICIAN AND MODERN-DAY RENAISSANCE MAN LENNY KRAVITZ

Having long admired STEINWAY & SONS, Lenny Kravitz teamed up with STEINWAY to design the KRAVITZ GRAND LIMITED EDITION of 10 Model B STEINWAYS. For this personal passion project, Lenny and his Kravitz Design team dissected every aspect of the STEINWAY’s construction, looking at the case, action and even the screws to create a completely new look unlike anything STEINWAY has ever produced.

CLASSIC EUROPEAN STYLE WITH AN AFRICAN MOTIF

The Kravitz Grand is inspired by African themes from painting, sculpture and fabric design via the Paris art scene of the 1920s. Art Deco styling is juxtaposed with African motifs in an eclectic one-of-a-kind work of art. Fine materials and stunning attention to detail harken to the glamour of this era.

INSPIRED COLLABORATION

The GRAN NICHETTO limited edition pianos were more than four years in the making, having been imagined, tweaked, honed and perfected by designer Luca Nichetto together with the master craftspeople at STEINWAY & SONS.

Nichetto Studio has bases in Italy and Sweden and works with a variety of brands and clients from all around the world including Hermès, Land Rover, De La Espada, Cassina, Swatch and Ginori 1735. The Studio has received several international awards, including the Red Dot Award, Wallpaper* Design Award, Good Design Award, the IF Product Design Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Award (EDIDA).
